Welcome to Pool Noodles and Professional Development – ROE #11’s summer edition of Book Buzz! Educators can earn 6.5 professional development hours while floating in the pool or relaxing on a beach. This event will run June 1st through June 30th. This summer we will be reading The Essential 55: An Award-Winning Educator’s Rules for Discovering the Successful Student in Every Child by Ron Clark. Each Participant who registers will receive a copy of the book and the corresponding workbook that goes along with it. ** This event is only open to ROE #11 educators and to the first 75 registered. 

To participate:

1.Register for the event by Friday, May 20th.

2.You will receive an email from Katie ODell with the activities associated with the book. Choose any 3 activities.

3.Submit the three activities as one Google doc to Katie O’Dell at kodell@roe11.org by Thursday, June 30th.

4.If you do not complete the book study, you or your school district will be invoiced charges for books and mailing, if applicable. (not to exceed $30)
