The East Central – EIU Reading Council is hosting its 12^th Annual Literacy & Learning Conference on Saturday, February 24, 2024, at Eastern Illinois University in Buzzard Hall. In her presentation, Peace, Joy, and Books, she will present techniques for fostering literate citizenship. Dr. David Purpura from Purdue University, https://hhs.purdue.edu/directory/david-purpura/, will be presenting a session about using dialogic reading to enhance children’s early math skills.
