Everyone believes they know how to communicate effectively. Unfortunately, we are incorrect. Even the best communicators fail to connect with their audience most of the time. Working with peers in a human laboratory, our talents come alive, versus reading the concepts from the written page. The work of effective communication is exhausting, but the rewards of acquiring skills last a lifetime. We become better educators, better co-workers, and better people. Why improve as communicators? It is crucial to improve the quality of our lives, and the lives of those around us.
This event will take place virtually from 8:30 am –11:30 am. It will still be worth 6 hours of PD and participants will have additional work to do outside of the three hours.
