During this event, participants will gain an enhanced understanding and ability to identify persons exhibiting threatening or aberrant behaviors, evaluate the risk of the threat, and provide appropriate interventions and case management strategies to reduce the risk of violence. Participants will also get information regarding signs and symptoms of mental health issues and learn techniques to use in the moment with youth who are experiencing a crisis/mental health issue.
This workshop will take place in the music room at Martinsville Elementary located at 410 East Kendall.
If you are an educator employed with Martinsville CUSD #C-3, you do not need to register for this session. All other educators will need to register and send a $10 payment issued to Martinsville CUSD #C-3 for lunch to:
