Join other educators from the region for the Shelby County Summer Ag Institute day themed – ‘From Local to Global’. Participants will visit businesses in Shelby County where they will tour the facilities and learn how these local agricultural businesses impact their communities and how their knowledge and experiences can be taken back into the classrooms for life lessons. Then, time will be spent learning about careers in agriculture and the everyday learning involved with them. Lesson plans and resources will be supplied to go along with the classroom instruction.
Lunch and transportation is provided.
