Join other math educators, grades 6-12, for a day of of discussion and learning!

The morning will be spent covering a variety of topics including: solar eclipse math, mathletes, wall coverings (what does your room look like?), SAT, curriculum, differentiation, and lesson sharing. The afternoon will be spent with Aubrey from the Specific Learning Disability (SLD) Project who will focus on IES recommendations for teaching algebra in the middle and high school. The group will examine how to use solved problems, structure of algebraic strategies, and alternative strategies. She will also share information on math anxiety.
