Join ROE #11 this summer for an online book study of Help for Billy: A Beyond Consequences Approach to Helping Challenging Children in the Classroom. This book is a must read for anyone working with a child in the classroom. Based on the concept of the neuroscience of emotions and behavior, Forbes provides detailed, comprehensive, and logical strategies for teachers working with traumatized children.
ROE #11 is partnering with Lindenwood University to offer 1 graduate credit or 15 Professional Development Hours.
The book study runs from Wednesday, June 19th to Wednesday, July 31st. Participants will meet face to face on the first (June 19th) and last (July 31st) days of the event from 12:30 pm – 2:30 pm. The remainder of the discussions and tasks will be online through the Canvas platform. Instructions, log on information, etc. will be provided closer to the event.
Lindenwood University will be offering 1 graduate credit or ROE #11 will be providing up to 15 hours of professional development credit. Those wishing to receive graduate credit will pay $125.00 ($75 payable to Lindenwood University, $50 to ROE #11). Anyone wishing to receive PD hours will pay $50.00.
Participants are responsible for purchasing the book on their own.
