The importance of social and emotional well-being continues to be an area of focus for school districts and educators. School districts have increased levels of awareness on the impact of chronic stress and trauma. Furthermore, school districts that support the social and emotional well-being of staff are likely to have lower levels of stress, improved attendance, and increased levels of modeling for students. The overall goal is to create a positive climate and staff retention. This professional development will provide education, discussion and relevant application to staff social and emotional health and well-being.
