Attention teachers in grades 4 through 9! Are you looking for some unique ideas to teach mathematics and science with reading, social studies and technology? If you are, then look no further! This exciting, fun-filled, hands-on workshop will feature activities that show how the thrilling field of aviation is used to connect these subjects in the real world. Using official aeronautical charts, easy to make plotters, and other low cost items, you’ll fly high with numerous classroom ready lessons. All activities will be aligned with the current Illinois standards and be very relevant to standardized testing.
Fee: $10.00. The Regional Office of Education #11 accepts cash or checks. Payment is accepted at the time of sign-in for the workshop or the participant will be billed following the event.
