Join other ELA educators, grades 6-12, for an afternoon of learning and discussion!  We will start with a presentation by Kellyn Sirach from the Illinois SLD Support Project to explore  the science of reading and how to integrate practical literacy strategies into subject-specific instruction to meet the diverse needs of adolescent learners.  The last hour will be reserved for participants to work with each other, have time to share resources, and collaborate on in-the-moment needs.
