High Leverage Practices (HLP) in Special Education are essential strategies and practices that all special educators should implement. They are research-based and cross grade and content areas. HLPs are broken into four main domains: assessment, collaboration, instruction, and social/emotional/behavioral practices . Participants will evaluate their own practices as well as learn ways to apply HLPs into everyday practice.

There is no requirement for participants to attend session 2.
