We are excited to host Sergeant Ari Briskman with the Lake County Sherriff’s department to discuss drug impairment with ROE #11 school nurses.

Topics of instruction include:

• A basic understanding of the seven drug categories and their general/clinical indicators of impairment.
• The signs of a drug overdose.
• Medical conditions that may mimic drug impairment.
• Psychophysical tests to aid in identifying drug impairment.
• General guidelines for documenting/articulating drug impairment.

A catered lunch will be included in the training.
